It was a quiet day across the minor-leagues, as OKC was the only team to play.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
The Dodgers resumed their game from Sunday, picking things up in the seventh inning. They lost to the El Paso Chihuahuas (Padres) 8-7. In their second game, OKC picked up the 2-0 win in seven innings.
Although the Dodgers scored only two runs, every position player in the lineup recorded a hit. OKC’s two runs came in the third inning. Yoshi Tsutsugo singled in a run to give the Dodgers a one-run lead. Christian Santana then doubled in a run to make it 2-0. Over the final four innings, the Dodgers didn’t have a single runner in scoring position.
Mitch White made the start for OKC. He threw six scoreless innings and struck out two. Kevin Quackenbush recorded his 13th save. His ERA on the season is still 0.00, having not allowed a run in 23 innings.
