Thursday feels like a day that would bring some movement to the Dodgers’ plans for Friday’s 1 p.m. PT trade deadline. The team needs at least one starter, one reliever and maybe multiple bench pieces to stabilize the roster for the stretch run.
How shocking would it be if they didn’t at least get one big fish on the market into a Dodger uniform?
Of course, it also helps that two big pieces like Corey Seager and Mookie Betts could make their way back into the lineup by the weekend. It would certainly be fun to see the minor league caliber players go back to the minor leagues in the next few days.
