MLB Pipeline has a post going up next week to update the in-season prospect rankings. They gave a preview this week by naming the fastest rising prospects in each organization.
For the Dodgers, the prospect identified was right-hander Andre Jackson.
No. 22 in the Dodgers’ system prior to next week’s update, Jackson will be the biggest mover on the list. Here is an excerpt from their preview:
His athleticism has translated into a mid-90s fastball with late life and an advanced changeup, and he’s working on his feel for spinning the ball. He sports a 3.28 ERA, .198 opponent average and an 81/22 K/BB ratio in 71 1/3 innings between Double-A and Triple-A.
Ross Stripling got his World Series ring while the Blue Jays were in town this week. Good for you, Chicken Strip. Take care of that baby, and the little boy too.

Some idiot in Queens was pointing a laser in Max Muncy’s face Friday night.
