This is kind of sad having only one minor-league team left to write about. I feel like a parent who just sent their kid off to school and now I don’t know what to do with my time. Well, at least we still have one team for now.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
It was a quiet night for the offense and a rough night for the pitching staff, as OKC fell to the Round Rock Express (Rangers) 10-1.
Andre Jackson went five innings and allowed two runs on eight hits. He struck out four and issued one walk. Nick Tropeano followed him and was roughed up, as he allowed four runs in only 1⁄3 an inning of action.
For the offense, they recorded only four hits on the night. Their lone run came in the third inning after Zach Reks hit a ground-rule double. For the night, OKC went 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position and stranded seven runners on base.
