The Diamondbacks interrupted the planned pennant coronation for the Phillies in Philadelphia on Monday, setting up a Game 7 of the National League Championship Series on Tuesday night at Citizens Bank Park.

The winner Tuesday will face the Rangers in the World Series beginning Friday night in Arlington.

Brandon Pfaadt starts for Arizona in Game 7, coming off the start of his life in Game 3 last Thursday in Phoenix. Pfaadt struck out nine in 5⅔ scoreless innings, allowing only two hits and no walks in a game Arizona won 2-1 in walk-off fashion in the ninth.

Ranger Suárez was similarly brilliant in Game 3, with 5⅓ scoreless innings of his own, with seven strikeouts and one walk. This postseason, Suárez has allowed only one run on seven hits in 14 innings in his three starts, with 13 strikeouts against only two walks.

This is the first Game 7 in the 141-year history of the Phillies franchise.

Game 7 is the last baseball broadcast of the year for TBS, with Brian Anderson on play-by-play alongside analysts Ron Darling and Jeff Francoeur. The World Series will be televised by Fox.
