AFL 11/10/12 recap: Mesa win streak reaches 4

The 11 runs by Mesa is the most they've scored in almost a month

The Solar Sox were down after 6 innings, but a 7-run 7th inning gave them the lead for good as Mesa defeated Peoria 11 to 8. Both Dodgers in Saturday's lineup contributed to the big inning as Griff Erickson walked with the bases loaded and Rafael Ynoa doubled with the sacs full to plate a pair. For Ynoa it was his only hit of the game, but for Griff it was probably his best game thus far in the AFL as he went 2 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI's.

Outside of the Dodger hitters it should be noted that George Springer (Astros) had another good game as he fell a homer shy of the cycle and drove in two, while Logan Watkins () had 3 hits as well and did manage to take one deep.

On the mound a couple of Dodger relievers threw in this game, starting with Red Patterson who hurled the 6th inning and recorded the win despite allowed 2 hits and a walk in frame. According to the radar gun he was hitting 93 mph. Lefty Eric Eadington took over in the 7th and walked two, but he also failed to give up a run as he lowered his ERA to 5.73. The better news about Eadington was that his fastball was clocked at 95 mph for Mesa
