The Solar Sox finished the season a league worst 10 - 20 after a 8 - 3 loss to the Desert Dogs on Thursday. For the second consecutive game Mesa managed just one extra base hit in the contest, and this one came on Rafael Ynoa's triple. It was his 4th three-bagger of the season to lead the team, and his .330 average was also best on the club. Joc Pederson, on the other hand, went 0 for 2 in this game and saw his batting average drop to a league worst .096 (not counting Phoenix's Miles Head who played in one game and went 0 for 3).

No Dodgers pitched in this game, and it's a good thing because 5 of the 6 hurlers for Mesa allowed at least one run. Starter Jarred Cosart (Astros) got the loss after he allowed 5 hits, 2 walks, and 3 runs over 3 innings of work.
