The Dodgers took outfielder Josh McLain from North Carolina State with their ninth-round pick, No. 284 in the 2018 MLB Draft.
McLain hit .344/.375/.458 as a senior for NC State in 2018. The Dodgers have to be happy to get him since they also drafted him in the 14th round last year but didn’t sign him.
He was not ranked in the top 200 by our David Hood.
The allotted slot value for the No. 284 pick is $143,600.
Thankful for 4 years of @NCStateBaseball!!! Best years of my life! Excited to start a new journey with the @Dodgers!!
