Second baseman Deacon Liput from the University of Florida is the Dodgers’ 10th-round pick, No. 314 overall in the 2018 MLB Draft.

Liput was drafted in the 29th round by the Dodgers in 2017 and was also drafted by the Yankees out of high school in the 39th round of the 2015 MLB Draft.

The 5-foot-10 infielder bats left and hit .286/.377/.482 with eight homers, 13 doubles and one triple in 2018.

MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo said he is a solid defender with great contact and good speed but lacks power.

He was not ranked in the top 200 by our David Hood.

The allotted slot value for the No. 314 is $136,800.
