Ron Cey and Marty Lamb to represent Dodgers in MLB Draft

Six-time MLB All-Star Ron Cey and scout Marty Lamb will be the Dodgers’ representatives in the 2019 MLB Draft. This announcement came along with the rest of the MLB representatives, which can be found here.

Cey was drafted by the Dodgers out of Washington State University in the third round of the 1968 MLB Draft. Cey played 12 total seasons in a Dodgers uniform (10 full seasons), making his major league debut in 1971. He earned the 1981 World Series MVP award in the Dodgers’ victory over the New York Yankees.

Lamb has been a scout for the Dodgers since 1999. His signed players include A.J. Ellis, Chad Billingsley, Walker Buehler, Matt Beaty and Will Smith.

The MLB Draft will begin on June 3 and last for three days. The Dodgers will get six draft picks this season.
