Vin Scully video tribute to Todd Helton

The Rockies first baseman is playing his final game on Sunday at Dodger Stadium.

Before Sunday's regular season finale the Dodgers showed a video tribute from Vin Scully to Rockies first baseman Todd Helton, playing his final major league game on Sunday.

It was a moving tribute from Scully, who ended it with a great line: "On behalf of all those Dodgers pitchers you mistreated for so many years, have a wonderful life after baseball."

Helton and his teammates watched from the first base dugout, then Helton got a nice standing ovation from the Dodger Stadium crowd.

Helton, playing his 120th career game at Dodger Stadium, was originally slated to bat sixth in the Rockies' starting lineup on Sunday, but was moved up to third for his final game at the suggestion of shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who was originally batting third. Helton has started 904 games batting third in his career.
